About Me
A Lifetime of Acting
Laura Huggins always uses her voice to inspire others. An experienced musical theatre performer, vocalist, and actor, she likes to help others realize their own power that is found within. Laura wants to tell stories that inspire young people to achieve their dreams, through culture, education, and faith in themselves. Laura’s voice has a reassuring tone, focusing on building and affirming one's spiritual strength and empowerment.
With a ‘Never be Defeated’ attitude, Laura triumphed over breast cancer, then wrote and voiced her own survival story to encourage others fighting their own battle against the disease. The Bodhisattva Emerged Dancing: How One Woman Overcame a Life-Threatening Illness, is now available on Audible.com

Past Projects
A dramatic play about HIV, our families, and prevention, called Our Story: AIDs in the Black Community. Written by Larry Williams, directed by Ken Eulo, and sponsored by Simeon Resource and Development Center for Men, it garnered rave reviews at the Orlando Shakes/ Shakespeare Theatre.
